OK, todays the first day of NAMM. I just thought I'd get the ball rolling with a place to post any news that may come in.

I'd just like to see pictures of the guitars and the display. A friend of mine is at NAMM right now, but he's working (he works for Taylor) and he won't have much time to check out the rest of the show.

I went to NAMM in Nashville as a guest of Fender in 2004 and, unfortunately, Ric wasn't there at all.

Indeed there is, Scott. I suspect, however, that there will be no further delights - 'Rickenbackerwise', that is.

Having said that, I can't decide whether my glass is half full or half empty....

Well Howard, if you'd like to empty your glass halfway, you can send half your collection to me.

That's VERY subjective.... I want a 1996, in the worst way, LOL!

BTW, my 325 is quite a fun little guitar, and is VERY playable, in addition to being a true thing of beauty to look at and to hear!

I have never even considered a 'little' Ric. But a guitar collector friend of mine recently bought a 325C58. What a GREAT little gtr! Didn't take any getting used to, but unfortunately, the Kaufmann tuning stability (or lack of) made it impossible to use on the recording project I was working on. However....I want one! Sort the Kaufmann out & I'll love it.

Looks like I'm surrounded by kids who are getting what they wanted for christmas...

I'd shoot my eye out anyway.....

I think John said there was more to come even after announcing the AFG, 4003 switch and 1996. Earlier he said "you're not thinking big enough" when people were guessing... so... let's wait and see.
