It's a model Pedal 780, produced from 1961-71.
The Pedal 785 had 10 strings and 6 pedals.
The Pedal 790 had 2 8-string necks and 6 pedals.

The one in the photo is really beautiful looking.
How well does it play? I've been told they don't stay in tune when the pedals are used.

Thanks Richard. I thought it might be, but I wasn't sure. It only arrived yesterday, so I haven't had chance to try it yet - but it's in great condition and is made from a beautiful piece of maple. I'm only used to a gas & brake pedal. This could take some getting used to Image

Thanks Richard. I got it all together. Pushed a couple of pedals and snapped a couple of strings. I need to try the gentle touch next time! I think it'll take quite some time for me to master this..... maybe a lifetime!!
