Dang, if she was a fretless, I'd be all over her like a cheap suit ...

Was planning to head up there today in a few minutes to pick up my octave mandolin (took her in for a tune-up over the holidays) ... I'll give this one a look while I'm there (if she's still available when I get there!).

Well, I just got back from Elderly ...

Pics unfortunately didn't tell the whole story, at least for me anyway. I'm no guitar tech, but she appears to have had a neck repair at one time - there's an obvious crack on the bass side of the neck near the headstock. There's also an area of paint bubbling above the pickguard that sort of shows up on the pics.

She has a few scratches and dings on the top, sides, and back - nothing huge, I'd guess these are appropriate for her age.

The neck has some very nice areas of flame.

I plugged her in, too. Plays easy, action and intonation seemed okay. But, she seemed to be a bit weak on the bass side, volume-wise.

Again, FWIW, considering I'm definitely NOT a guitar tech.

It must have the cap then. If the bass is weak.
