Hi again,

I've got a 360/12V64, but am having trouble getting the action low . . . . the local guitar tech told me it couldn't get any lower because of the design of the guitar. I find this hard to believe since I have played other Rick 12 strings that were really easy to play. Is are any suggestions out there as how how to achieve a setup with a low action on that guitar? Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum Krishna. You wouldn't happen to be the Krishna Rao from Welland, ON?

Sorry, no useful answers to your question!

Welcome Krishna,

If you post some detailed pics of the bridge and neck area then there are a number of people who can help you out.

The action on my 360/12WB is very close to the neck, so unless you have a problem with the neck you should be able to set yours up with low action as well. So go ahead and post some pics and a few of us will take a look at your problem.

Krishna, I just took my 360/12 to Dale Fortune (current poster here.. see his threads in Vibrola technical forum). Fretting at the first position was challenging. He deepened and evened out the nut slots and adjusted the bridge and now it plays 100% better. It's like a new dream guitar with all the Ric jangle vibe a guy could wish for!
