Hey Everybody,

How do I shrink photos to post here? I have been unable to figure it out!!

I use photoshop, but most photo packages will let you alter the image size. Just make sure the size is under 500 x 500 and the file size is less than 36k. Go into your photo package and go on tools and image size - something like that. Good luck and let's see those pics.

If you have Photoshop, try using the "Save for Web" feature. It allows you to significantly reduce file size but retain a larger image.

There are a number of software applications other than PhotoShop that you can use to resize your photos. Arcsoft's PhotoStudio is one that's inexpensive.

Just remember to save them as either a jpeg or gif.

If you're on windows, the free XP image resizer tool can't be beat. It's free and allows you to not only resize to "standard" sizes, but also to any dimensions you choose:

When resizing a picture, remember to maintain the original aspect ratio; in my Olympus Camedia Master 1.0 software, it's a checkbox under the Resize function:
