John: I was most interested in your Lightshow journey. You comment on the heaviness of the 331 but I am wondering if there is a difference in tonality between the 331 and the 330.

"I am wondering if there is a difference in tonality between the 331 and the 330."

Yes they sound different, but I think this is mostly due to the early hi-gain pickups of the LS than the body differences. Those screw-top hi-gains are pretty nice sounding...!

John, beautiful guitars and equally nice presentation. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks.

BTW, the 330 Burgundyglo has inspired me. Do you have a few more detailed pics you could share with me.

Thanks much.

Re: the 330, how does one go about a factory refinish? I wish they'd do them now, as my 335 is desperate for one!

"Re: the 330, how does one go about a factory refinish?"

Answer: You filled out a form, wrote a check, and mailed the guitar. Image

They only did this for a few months and it was an experiment if I recall. I think they did 30 guitars or something like that... Too bad its gone!
