I just got in a modern treble pickup cover to add to my 72 4001. Easy enough except that the spacing between the pole pieces and the pickup cover is not enough. I added rubber spacers...

There was a discussion about this, but I am trying to find it. What size of spacers did you guys use?

Use whatever gives you the spacing you need.

just got it perfect... I had to get smaller springs

Bic pen casings work too; you can cut 'em to whatever length you need....
