This is a music test that a number of you, who are musicians may enjoy - no cheating now.

I scored 25 out of 30 so the pressures on because I don't play.

Now if only helped my playing, too... Image my Dad scored 28/30 on a similar test (a harder one), and he's soon to be 60 & never played anything...

Don't think that's too bad Howard, Sheena has done well with 26 and her dad even better at 28, best score I know of, second name not Tchaikovsky
is it?

The usual suspects won't be up yet so we will have to see.

No, Roy, not Tchaikovsky, slightly different. Image He always had a good ear, not absolute of course but close to that. I might be a bit biased towards my Dad, though, and perhaps the test he passed wasn't hard enough or wasn't actually harder than this one, i'll try to make him pass this one and then we'll see...
I just wonder what's the average result for this one? I thought it was about 24-27...

Sheena, if only, I don't work for anyone at the moment since my previous company felt that they no longer needed my services, 20 years loyalty meant ziltch, it's this site keeping me sane at the moment.

27. Wow, I think I'm going to brag about this to my teacher.
Didn't it seem like almost every one of the "Different" were out of key? Kind of made it a little easier. - Mark

Mark, you're a man! Take a bow!
I felt the "different" ones were very different... i could've probably been looking for subtler differences, and given i had a terrible headache in the morning... well, in any case, i don't pretend to be an "ear", so that was quite fair! Image
So, are you waiting for a letter from them, Mark? Image
