Yes, very nice work Michael. It is great to focus on the talents of Tony Jackson. I always enjoyed his work with The Searchers.
His work after The Searchers was equally impressive in my view. The single to which Michael refers is but one good example.
Regrettably, his departure from Pender, McNally and Curtis resulted in a diminished profile, in spite of his talent.
To my way of thinking, the blending of the voices of the other Searchers was key to their success. Breaking off from the original group has always been a risky strategy, and Tony's mediocre results on the charts was a reminder of this.
