Why is there a change in the new wiring diagrams
for the 5 ctl guitars having the third leg of the mixer pot grounded? (yes, it's an improvement, but the old guitars were not wired like this?)
My own 325V63 built 1994)is wired in the old way leaving the 3rd leg open.

that's a mistake.

Any mixer pot wired like will no longer be a mixer/balance control. It would be another bass volume control.
