I just had a major project assigned to me and I am going to really need to scale back my extra-curricular activities. So I am going to need to take a break from the Forum for a few weeks. It's the only way I know of to really stay focused.
Can someone just keep an eye on this group for a while? I promise I'll be back.

If you promise to show us the coloring book when you're done, Bob...
Seriously, your august presence will be missed. Godspeed!

Please compare and contrast the differences between a July '81 360 and an August '81 360.

I am not sure which may be the better guitar for me to play the bluuzze on, TIA!

The additional age of the wood on the July guitar gives it extra "mojo", which is what I believe you blues players are into. Additionally, in July of 1981, the weather was a bit hotter and the wood was more thoroughly seasoned, allowing for a more woody and "woman" tone, which I believe you blues players are into.
If the guitar is nicer in condition than the August guitar, do not despair! Leave it out in the doghouse for a few days for the dog to chew on and then spray it with several beers and a bucket of diluted tobacco chewings. Then you're set...instant mojo.
