Sorry if this has been around before, but I just discovered these Beatclub performances of Pinball Wizard and the Seeker, and John Enwistle is playing a 4005 in both clips. Cool stuff!

I think this is the same 4005 that Forum member Simon Mole now owns.

The clips play for two seconds and stop.
Is there a way on YouTube to right-click and save?
Thanks!

You can see just how thin these necks are from the shot near the beginning of The Seeker video. Of course, I've been playing one like that since '73!

I think you have to play it from the site and sometimes it takes a little while to load.

If you hit pause, it will load. You can see the lighter bar move to the right as it loads. Hit the play button, and you can see a darker bar move to the right in relation to what's been loaded.

OK, I'll try and be patient, thanks.

Its always amazed me that when you listen to a who track, there doesn't sound like there is a great deal going on in the bass department but whenever it cuts to JE he's always playing really quickly.

If you listen closely, you'll hear some amazingly intricate parts. He was such a master of touch that even his busiest stuff never overwhelmed the mix.

I heard that he originally played French Horn and trumpet which built up the strength on both hands so he used all 10 fingers while playing bass

There must be at least another track from the Beat Club TV Show somewhere, I know they performed See Me, Feel Me too

I was watching Keith Moon - Behind the Music last night, an old show I taped years ago off VH1, and they showed the "Tommy" promo video as part of it, you know, the "Tommy, can you hear me?" video...and Entwistle is playing a MG 4005 in the video. Very happy to see that!
