I have a Fender Hotrod Deluxe (40 Watt tube)and a Fender Princeton 65 (65 watt solid state).
Any suggestions for how you guys would use these amps with your twelve strings for rhythm playing? I have a Digitech "Bad monkey Overdrive", Danelectro "Fab Overdrive and Danelectro Fish-n-Chips EQ. Any particular effect that is a "must have" with this guitar? Both amps have reverb. Thank You!

I have the same amps, wow. I actually like the 12-string best through the solid-state amp, however, it was kind of noisy on my set-up, but a better clean sound for the 12-string, in my opinion. You can also play in stereo, using both amps.

Gerry: My preference would be the Fender Deluxe with a JangleBox for your 360/12.

Fender Twin Reverbs & Showmans sound good with Rick 12 strings, Roger McGuinn used them live & sometimes in the studio with the Byrds.
Try them in stereo if you have a 360? The amps you have should sound sound fairly similar?

I asked about amp settings too a while back and no one responded (that I recall).
I have a Fender Cyber Champ (the baby brother to the Cyber Twin).
Other than the obvious (high treble, higher bridge volume than neck) any other suggestions?
Thanks!
[PS: Already own a Janglebox.]

At the risk of being flogged, what is a Janglebox?

It is a compressor - a must have for the "classic" Ric 12 sound. Janglebox is a respected brand that even McGuinn uses...

"Any particular effect that is a "must have" with this guitar?"
Tremolo! Like that on my Princeton Reverb, which modulates the bias of the 6V6s. I love the tone of my 660/12 through it.
