It is great that they finised the back side in a burst, where no one will ever see it! I know, I know... that is how they are done. But still, it just seems silly to me.

There have been more than one or two electric banjos built and sold over the years. Rickenbacker's is one of them. This is another. I've seen others, although of course I haven't got any good pictures handy...

Rickenbacker does hold the actual patent on the Bantar design, or did at one point. The patent was granted to F.C. Hall himself in 1966 or 67.
