. . . I pushed the BIN on it anyway. Looks good. Will need some monkeying around with the electronics, but nothing that can't be done easily. For $525, s**t, why not?

I figure I can bring it back to "normal" with the original pickups (included), get a black pickguard and paint a white edge to it, find a black/white TRC, do the white edge on that, and finish the theme of white edges on black. Maybe I should make it a fiver . . . hmm.

Um, holy **** . . . how'd you find that deal? You get an easy-to-fix Ric with a nice set of Bartolini aftermarket pickups IN ADDITION to the original pickups . . . geez.

Now, watch, as my bass budget is all but gone, one that I REALLY want will come up with a reasonable BIN. I'll have to plead with the CFO to front me the $$. Just watch.
This is the third Rick I've bought in just 10 days: the Fireglo 2060 on eBay, a Fireglo V63 (private sale), and now this JG. Somebody stop me!

They come in threes, Paul!

Well, I've posted it here before, but it's now been shortened since the Fireglo V63 is on its way. The two outstanding ones are a Sea Green (any style bass), and a quilted maple top Cheyenne II with the walnut rear body and headstock wings.

I think you may be safe from either of those coming up for sale soon....

So if the JG is not on your list, are you going to share your good fortune with fellow forumites in the way of reselling?
