Major GAS attack!!! That thing is unbelievably cool. I'm a fan of the old alumi-Kramers (I've got a fretless and an 8 string) and obviously a total Ric nut. Too bad about the price...

Yeah, for 3K you would expect at least a good working bridge on it. Why anyone would choose to make a cutom bass using one of those old things boogles my mind.
