Hey There..........Unfortunately, I need to sell my 4000 which I have for less than one month....I won it on Ebay at the end of this past January. Also selling a 1953 Lincoln Capri sedan. Any old car fanatics out there??

It's a real drag, and I really don't want to sell either, but am in a temporary financial bind over here after being out on disability for 5 months.

Anyway, I'd like to see the bass go to someone from the group here, who would appreciate it. If interested, you can contact me at [email protected].
Thanks-
Les (Coon-man)

Hmm, if only I had the cash available I'd be all over it. Sadly it's just bad timing ...

Life is, and as we bass players know especially, all about timing...

My Lollar is getting fitted in my 4001 right now by Paul, along with a nice Sergio toaster in the neck position. Once I hear how that sounds, I may try to get another for the 4000. What I want to do though, is get to know the 4000, and see where it fits tonally with my 4001 and 4003. With the Lollar in the 4001 and the newer 4003, I may find that I'll just let the 4000 be a 4000 and enjoy it's sound for what it is.

Please explain to the un-initiated... what's the deal with the Lollar horseshoes? I've heard just enough to be intrigued.

Marc:

Wow, that sure is a sweet looking bass! How do you like the lollar pu?

They are on the expensive side, but compared to the originals selling on Ebay, they are a bargain!
