It's in excellent condition except for one ding on the headstock between the E and A tuning keys. Comes with original "vintage" silver hardshell case. $1600. Pictures are available upon request.

Ron,

Is it the C64 or the C64s?

It's a C64.

My C64S is not for sale since it's one of the Jetglo finishes.

Ron,

E-mail sent - I'm interested.

How much do the C64 and the C64 S differ?

Looking forward to seeing pictures of yours.

- Tim

Tim,

The regular C64S has a zero fret and a satin finish. The C64 has no zero fret and a gloss finish.

Pics are on their way to you tonight.

As you probably know Tim, that one is gonna sound and feel a lot like your old V63(that I should have bought Image ).

The C64 neck seems a bit slimmer than my v63 and it's definitely a lot slimmer than the current 4003 neck. They're not too far apart tonally.

Cool. Thanks Ron.

Still kicking myself for selling my Sea Green V63. If this works out for me perhsps it will lessen the sting.

I'm sure you'll like it, Tim.

If ya wanna trade sob stories, I'll tell you about the '62 Reissue Strat my wife bought for me brand new back in 1982. I sold it back in 1990 when I thought I was done with playing guitar. Now I find out that the Fullerton-era reissue Fenders (1982-1984) are climbing in value.

Tim,

That C should be very nice! They have great necks. Slimmer than my 92 and 93 V63's which are already comfy!
