I have a couple different brand gig bags that are very nice, one is a Reunion Blues double bag and I have two different Kaces III single bags. Check those out.

I actually use a gig bag for my rics whenever I take them to a jam (hardcase for shows as things are more unpredictable). I can't find any brandname on mine but it is black and grey with bright red trim. Very handsome, well padded with TONS of pockets and handles.

It also has shoulder straps so you can wear it like a backpack... a godsend because I often do a lot of walking with it.

I have an Undercover double bag - Love it! Carry my Ricks and Fodera in it. Check them out at Bass Central

I use either a Levy or a Fender Deluxe gig bag, depending on which one I grab first.

I never use those things, years ago I had a tube head fall on top of a case flat on the floor with a bass in it with no damage to the bass, gig bag..shudder. I think it was an SVT head. I'll use them to store a bass in my house, that's it.

Wow, Bob. That's the second Bob Young story that I've heard regarding an Ampeg SVT head falling from a high place.

You must really HATE those SVT's!

These are very nice. They have a spine in them.

Yeah Im not giging really tho. I just want something to pack basses in back and forth from jamming with friends. Pretty safe areas normally. Cause they all know ill kick there *** if they hurt my babys. Haha.

I have a Summit gig bag and it is excellent. Wanted another, but they are now out of business. The owner of Summit recommended a "RoadRunner". The RR is available at GC and is identical to the Summit bag shown in Scott's URL shown above.

Jeff, did I ever mention the time one of my girlfriends tried to pick one up off the top off of a cab to throw it out the 2nd story window? haha! Many strange things have happened in the 30 years I'v been using them.

I never understood the concept of "gig bags". If you're gigging, it means your moving the guitar around a lot, so why not use a hard shell case to protect it?

I shudder to think of a SVT falling on anything...
