yes it's extremely interesting. Especially since this seller (located in Japan) has been selling these on a regular basis for the last few months. It's pretty clear that they have located a decent quantity of these and realised (probably after the auction on the first one went wild) that there's a lot of money to be made if they sell them slowly
So if those of us who want one (myself included) are clever, we'll all just wait our turn and get one at a more sensible price. Set your reasonable limit and give it a try. I suspect there are a few to come yet..... probably enough to go around. I've put my bid on this one

A year or two ago, i saw two books for sale on a Japanese website. I won them both at a reasonable price. Tuck Hersey helped me the deal. I kept one and John Simmons bought the other.

I nearly got the one that he sold last week, I got outbid and then forgot all about it until the auction had finished. I am the high bidder on this one (for now anyway!).

This is about the 5th one he's auctioned over the last few months. The first went for hundreds, the last one $124. People are realising that there's no need to panic.

The first one I found, I bought for $50 from JK Lutherie at a Michigan Guitar Show several years ago. I should have bought more while they had them.
