Vintage case causing neck change?

When I bought my new 360-12 a month ago, my dealer didn't have a case for it. He had sold it seperately to someone who needed a case, and forgotten to re-order. While I waited for my new Vintage case to arrive, he loaned me a ES-335 style case to take my Ric home in. It was a little loose, but okay as a temporary. My new Vintage case arrived last week and I picked it up on Saturday. I put the same Herco humidifier in the new case that I had in the ES case. Now everytime I have taken my 360-12 out of it's new case the all of the strings have gone sharp, and the small amount of neck relief I had is disappearing. During the month I had it in the other case I barely had to tune it at all. I've noticed that the new case has to be squeezed to be closed. The foam doesn't allow it to close without pressure. Is the new Rickenbacker Vintage case pressing the neck backwards? I only put the humidifier in there for the body. I live in Michigan, and it's still cold here. has anyone had problems with these cases? I got the vintage because my 620-12 body got chipped from the metal valence on the SKB case.
