I don't understand why there is a picture of a police man in there. Maybe he's getting arrested for ruining that beautiful bass!

I'd say it's worth about $500 in that condition ... and actually it's not that ugly ...

I agree with Jeff Rath. I mean...its a modded, routed 4001 that somebody tried to turn into a P-bass, which seems kinda silly and definitely not worth $1600.00. But really...I've seen plenty worse hack jobs. Look at the Azureglo '72 body on ebay for instance!

I agree that it's not that bad...
But like Bobcat and Henny said, just get a freaking P Bass, or do that to a lawsuit bass.
I agree with Jeff Rath 100%... 5 bills, if I was in the market, it'd be a decent deal. I might actually keep it that way if it sounded/played OK.
But damn...why people do that to such nice instruments? Rick or whatever...

*&&*^&$^$#^&^&(!!!!!!!!!!!!
The emp bought it for $600!
I consider that too much, particularly if the original hardware doesn't come with it.
It wouldn't be too bad for a refin job, but you'd have to do a solid color to cover the patches needed.
But with no hardware, I wouldn't pay more than $300 or $400.

Keep an eye out for it, refurbished, for about $1800 BIN if the Emp is in play.
