Does anybody have a 4004/8? I don't think I've seen any yet. Thanks - Jason aka his dogness

I don't think they've built so much as a prototype yet.

Nope. No 4004/8s yet, and it will probably be a while. That would constitute a new model, and RIC is so far behind fulfilling orders for current models, they probably won't introduce this until they can get caught up a bit. I don't recall RIC every stating that a 4004/8 was in the works, so it might just be speculation.

I think JH said once that it was always 'in the plan' for this model (referring to the 4004) somewhere on their Forum.

Nuts. The poster says (under the picture of the 5 string) "also available in eight string." Bummer. I want a green one.

Hi Jason - I'm afraid the best I can do is say have a look at Bjorn Ericsson's great site,
www.rickbeat.com, where I've posted (that's literally posted, sent with a stamp and an envelope!) some pics, and the 8 string is lurking there - I don't understand computers and submitting pictures as a rule! In fact, I'm going to have to lie down right now.
