Knobs can be changed. It does look like it has a horseshoe and the body looks right given the quality of the image.

It definitely seems to have a horseshoe pickup.
What I meant about the control knobs don't look right was that they appear to be located in the wrong place. To me it looks like they are too closse to the end of the body and too close to the bridge. The metal body Ricks (models 59 and NS) control knobs are spaced more widely and farther up on the body.

There is a parallel dialog on the steel guitar forum just now that says Rusty Young plays a Silver Hawaiian. Considering the yellow tone of the picture, it looks like it could be just that. Aloha, David.

Agree. The Silver Hawaiian has the same configuration as the Model 59.
