Have any forum members had several models in the same color? I'm sure that's probably a safe bet with fireglo but what about jetglo etc.

I have 5 in Fireglo and 2 in Jetglo, Dan. There is a 620/6 in Montezuma Brown available over here and it is a simply sensational looking guitar! If I was in the market for another 620
that's what I'd be buying. I
LOVE Monty Brown!!
C'mon lotto numbers..... do it for me!!

I have a 330/6 and a 660/12 both in montezuma brown. Simply beautiful.

I have a 330/6 in fireglo and a 350v63 Midnight Blue ordered. I decided on mid because even though it's a standard color, I haven't seen that many and I do like blue.
I agree that Monty Brown looks great. Right now I'm leaning towards Jetglo for the 620.
5 fireglows is a lot for the same color. I'd like to get a fireglo 350v63 but I really don't need 2 of the same model. I think fireglo is my favorite overall.

I have a 330 and a 340VP, both in Jetglo. After buying the 340VP for home use I loved the look of it so much that I tracked down a high-gained 330 to gig with. I think I just get off on a technicallity by calling my 330 and 340 different models!
Aside from those two guitars though, I have a Fireglo 360 at home plus I also have two 620s on order that will be Midnight Blue and Blueburst, so generally speaking I'm going for a different colour each time.

Dan, I think JG is the best color for a 620. With the white binding, white pick-guard, white TRC - you see what I mean !! It would have that early Lennon vibe, being a small guitar and all, without being a straight copy! I'd put a trapeze on it, though ...
My $0.02.

I think you are right Steve, the Jetglo with contrasting white features is hard to beat.

As the President of the Jetglo Appreciation society, I must agree.

Heck yeah ! I mean, how would you like to open up the case for the first time, and unveil something like this here ?

Sounds like a formula for a nice evening, if you ask me. You'd definitely have the coolest guitar on the block, WITHOUT QUESTION !! FG is snazzy, but JG is COOL.

Yes, jetglo looks especially good with white binding. If binding were an option with the 350v63 I'd have ordered it in jetglo.

I had a 350v63 in jetglo. (I've sold it now) But when I had it, I sure had wished it had been a Fireglow.
I'm still patiently waiting for them to make the 350 in a solid body with humbuckers.
Until then, I'm damn happy with my Monty Brown 650 and my Fireglow 610 & 360.
Fireglow man, you can't beat it. But I have to say that the Monty Brown is awful hard to beat also.

I suppose I could sell my fireglo 330 and get a fireglo 350v63. I think you'll wait a long time before a solid body 350v63 with the HB option is produced.

A 350 solid body with humbuckers ? Um, pardon me for asking, but why would you possibly want that ?? You want a Lennon guitar, but solid w/ a quantum leap in pick-up type, compared to the original ??? That makes no sense. It's called a 650 !! Some of you people do puzzle me from time to time ...

Well... I own a 660/12 and love the weight, feel, neck and tone of it. I think a "650" with the look and body style of a 350 is a fine idea.
In my case, it has nothing to do with wanting a "Lennon" guitar, but a lot to do with having great sounding components, built by great craftsmen, in a neck through solid body with absolute killer good looks. (the 350 is the best looking Ric IMO).
I would order and wait for years for a solid body version of the 350 (AFG or Monty Brown with double checker binding and triangle neck inlays of course). I would personally prefer a toaster at the neck and a HB at the bridge. Yeah.
Dale Fortune made one with high gains as a demonstration/design exercise and it looks fabulous (Forum calendar month of November).
