Best strings for the 325c58?

Hi gang...from my other post, I just purchased my 325--I'm getting ready to take her to my guitar guy to put the B5 in, and was thinking on strings. I like the feel of flats on my Jaguar; do these work well on the 325? I've only had 11's on the Jag--are there any rec's for sources or choice of 12's or 13's?
Apologies for the new guy questions!

Bill,
I recommend either Pyramid set GF613 nickel flatwounds (.013-.052) or Thomastik-Infeld Medium George Benson Jazz Series flatwounds (.012-.053). Either of these sets will work on the short scale of the 325.
John Hall has commented in the past that the Thomastik's are the closest current production string to the original Rickenbacker flatwound strings that were made by for Ric by Maxium.

After using both roundwounds and flatwounds on my 325C58, I've come across a nice alternative — D'Addario half-rounds. They give you the feel and some of the smoothness of flatwounds, but retain some of the "presence" of roundwounds. Really a nice "best-of-both-worlds" solution. The 12s sound (and play) great on my C58. I know many people swear by 13s, but I always prefer not to put that much strain on an instrument if it's not absolutely necessary to get a good tone .
Hope this helps.

I use the D'Addario Chromes, flatwound, .11-.50 Jazz Light. I'm a big fan of flat wounds on my Gretschs, and trying them on my 325C58 really helped the intonation issues. I may go to .12s next time, it's still not perfect. But I do like the flatwounds because I am a "noisy" fretter.
