This looks like a really fine guitar in exceptional condition and it's remarkable that it still has unopened case candy and the original shipping carton.

However, I can't see that this all adds up to a $4000 premium over the current market price for a mid 60s 360-12 FG!

Some doctor will pay the price and own this beauty... Nice time capsule. The guitar looks great.

I wonder if this is the same one mentioned over at Rickenbacker's Forum by the woman who said it was owned by her deceased husband.

I see the shipping cartons haven't changed much in 40 years. And the black marker handwriting (listing model and s/n) still looks pretty much the same! They must teach that handwriting over at R.I.C.

And, by the way, which part exactly on my Rics is made of glass?

I think they always put that on the boxes to encourage shippers to drop them more gingerly.
