I have that on the Hullabaloo video set. Denny Laine.

Excellent. Always loved that song. Looks a lot like my Ric 1997!
How weird is it to have Epstein figured so prominently in the shots???

I've got a book that has a very cool photo of Denny Laine posing with head resting on his Rick (1997 or 1998) in 1967. It has undergone a psychedelic repaint and looks unique in the picture. The photo is black and white, but very clear. You can see the rollers on the roller bridge and tarnish on the hardware. I may try to scan and post it tonight.

Would love to see that pic. Anyone ever noticed how close Gram Nash's melody for "Our House" resembles that in this #1 hit?

Speaking of "Moody Ricks", here's John Lodge with his Rick doubleneck.

Wow! John Lodge playing a 4080? That's an absolute first to me. Hm... From the guys' looks, and if that 4080 (an early one) is anything to go by, I'd say the above shot was taken in the late seventies.

Ha! I could imagine Epstein playing along on a little "Peanuts" Schroeder piano. Ha ha.

Let's see how this turns out. This is Denny Laine with his Rick 1998 (probably the same one used with The Moody Blues) in 1967 as a solo artist. Note the psychedelic swirls!

Too bad he didn't pull it out during "Wings".

I remember watching that same exact Hullabalo show

I was 12 yrs old when that aired. Back then we wouldn't miss Hullabalo or Shindig for the world. The Yardbirds, Manfred Mann, The Who, The Righteous Brothers, Chad and Jeremy, Peter and Gordon, Herman's Hermits, Freddy and the Dreamers, etc, etc.

Great clip.
That's some mean tambourine playing near the end too - his hand nearly goes through that thing!
needs more cowbell if you ask me...
