I thought the FG I recently sold was rare, I've never seen a white one before.

This wouldn’t be a forum for debate if we all agreed with each other.
I think the look and proportions of the 3000 are near perfect. It looks exceedingly retro and futuristic IMO, I guess like the Fender Strat, except that we have all got so used to that icon that the wow factor has been diluted somewhat.
The boxy yet rounded edges of the body are reminiscent of the slab P’s. The only downside for me is the short scale. I don’t know why but the proportions of the 3001 don’t quite do it for me. Nor do I find the pickguard on that one quite so George Jenson.
