Free Rickenbacker Bass?

I saw this while doing a casual google search and figured it was a scam....you probably have to purchase $1000 worth of on line **** to finially get the "FREE" bass. Here's the link...

Any one ever try this? I once started to fill out a similar deal for "FREE" gas and realised that I was going to have to keep on purchasing junk that I didn't want to get the free gasoline so I gave up and cancelled all of the services that I'd registered for...still, you never know...maybe it'll only cost you $700 for a new rick after the smoke clears.
Total scam?
Partial scam?
Legit, but cost as much as just buying the friggin bass?

I must admit, it was an enticing offer when I saw it. I mean, we like Rics, right? So, brave lad that I am, in I dove!
Seems innocuous and legit enough... to a point. Even if you don't sign up for any of the "free" services that they're peddling, you can only get so far before you're at the stage where all you have to do is give them your credit card info (for shipping charges...) and other pertinent personal data!
Eh... nah.

If I could get BetterWhois.com to work, I'd check to see who the URL art-offer.com belongs to. To me, a bogus listing means a bogus offer.
