I was wondering whether any Forum members will be in attendance at this year's Dallas Guitar Show, April 21-23. I would call it a medium-sized show, not to be confused with the mega-sized Arlington Guitar Show, October 20-22. I will definitely be cruising the floor on Friday, April 21.

Jared: We had at least (6) Forum members in town for Arlington last year (including a pair from the UK). I expect there may be more coming this year. Hope to see you then!

I will know this afternoon, Randy, if I will be there. It will be good to see you there again -- and any other forum members too!

Scott, I think DC will have a last minute booth. Look for me there.

I didn't realize they'd changed Friday to a public day from 2 - 7. It used to be a $250 admission 'preview' day.

I'll try to make it by on Friday as well as Saturday. My new cell # is: 817.899.7688.

Got the cel number! Yeah, it's now $36 for all 3 days starting on friday at 2pm! A helleva lot better than $250!!

DC got the booth and I will have a few things there too. You guys look for us. It's a small room.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting up with fellow Forum members Mike Gutierrez and Scott Jennings at the show. Mike was sharing a booth full of basses with a gentleman named DC Olson. There were plenty of Ricks for sale, but none that I couldn't resist. It was nice to go home with money in my pocket and a new Accent tailpiece. It was even nicer to have a few minutes to talk guitars, guitar shows, and collector mentality for a while with these guys. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Hey Randy! It's lonely here. Come on back!

Sorry Mike, I should expect by now that those aisles are teeming with annoying guitar freaks of every shape and description (I don't like crowds). It can't be too lonely with the Jaegermeister girls, just around the corner. I only hope for your sake that noisy guitarist in the adjoining booth gives it a rest today. Rock on, dudes!
