EBay WARNING!

A short time ago while eating lunch at my desk, I popped on to eBay and searched on "casino". Harmless enough, right? Well, first, here's what I saw:

It is obvious that there is a real auction and an attendant scam auction displayed.
NOW COMES THE SCARY PART: when I clicked on the scam auction to check what zero-feedback seller it was in China that was doing this, a webpage-hijack occurred that opened a new window displaying a fake eBay sign-in page. WORSE YET, the bogus website tried to install a virus/trojan (JS.Trojan.Blinder) on my computer (the attempt failed because my AV software prevented it).

Needless to say, I immediately sent a warning to eBay; however, knowing how slow they are to respond, I thought it prudent to warn my fellow Forumites who, like me, frequent eBay about this horrible situation, which in my opinion is downright criminal in nature. I hope that eBay takes steps to stop this from ever happening again.

That was fast! The offending posting has been removed from eBay, thank goodness!

BTW, I didn't know that Casinos had two-piece necks ...

I screen out all auctions outside of North America because of those damn China auctions. It seems to fill up half of every page I look on, when I am just searching in a category.
When is Ebay going to put a stop to those?????

Gary, I think that is the Casino "Convertible" model.
