I've bought the dvd "Never to be forgotten", earlier mentioned on this forum. (From Oklahoma, 1986). Some critical notes could be made about it, of course. But I'm glad I own it, and life would have been poorer without it etc. Out of the frontline, John York seems to be the more enthusiastic. Gene has obviously seen better days, but still performs with dignity. Rick Roberts sings well. The instrumental hero of the evening is guitarist Billy Darnell, who performs outstandingly both with his Fender and his Ric. But those are the only four mentioned in the credits, and there are seven on stage. Who's the drummer and the bassist, does anybody know? As for the keyboardist, from Einarson's biography on Gene Clark, I learn that Nicky Hopkins was associated to Gene in the late eighties. And as the dude looks a lot like Nicky, I presume it's him? A shame such a legend is not given any credit, though.

Of the attached "real Byrds" footage, I enjoyed the "Untitled" material the most.

Sounds like a cool disc. Is it a legit release?
