Guys - forget your fingers. I've just attacked my 12 string with the plan of a truss-rod adjustment for the first time ever. A la McGuinn, I've had the strings pulled, TRC off, heart racing, lean over to my tool box....none of my bits fit!
Whole thing a waste of time! I need a drink...

What a let down, Rob! More than one drink would be understandable......
A 1/4" nut driver shouldn't be too hard to source. The longer the better, BTW.
I was as nervous as hell when I did my first truss rod adjustment - no problems now.

Good news. Quick visit to the neighbour's and I've sorted the action on my 12-string and made a new friend!
Ah, that straight neck....I feel like I can accomplish anything!
