Easter Song Help (played with a Rick 4-2-5!)

My old piano player used to play the bass part on this song in the chorus so I never bothered to learn it. He stepped on me and the drummer quite a bit so we picked our battles! Anyway, he is gone and I have to play it. Here's what I did tonite in practice. Bb-B-C-D-Eb-E-F Bb-B-C-D-Eb-E-F and then C-C#-D-E-F-F#-G C-C#-D-E-F-F#-G.
Anyone know if this is correct? It's when they sing Hallelujah in the chorus.
Sorry to bother the forum, so I made it clear in the title that I need help. And, of course, this is the Sunday!

Are you talking about part of Handle's Messiah?
If so I have a lot of time now, and probably have it on CD...

Charly - dang, I was on vacation the past week, could have helped ya out if I'd logged into the Forum while I was out in WA. This was one of the first 'cool run' songs I learned 'back in the day' during my first year playing bass in youth choir.
Sheet for the run appears in the original '2nd Chapter of Acts' songbook (dating myself severely here LOL) - they actually wrote the tune, not the late Mr. Green.

It worked fine today. And with that vintage tone mod in place, it punched right through!

Glad to hear it worked out OK for you, Charly. This is one of those tunes I've played a lot, so I like to throw in a few new "tweaks" each time I do it (can't help it ... too much jazz in my youth and old age LOL).
Did you record the service? We didn't play this one this year, so I'd like to hear it!

No, we don't have enough inputs to get a decent recording, The acoustic guitar and I are not going through the pa, so it's all mud on the cassette. we have the lead and the piano in the pa. We are currently drummerless, so I've been a little busier in my playing lately. I have been thinking of just seeing what would sound like recorded with my portable dat if it was placed somewhere close to the front with a decent mic.
