I stumbled upon these photos of the RIC factory, they may be 'known' to the board already.

LOTS of 4001C64's in various states of undress!!

And pics of JH's personal stash...supposedly one of EVERY model...can't see a 350SH...I'll take the 4004cii though!!

Wow, more great shots, thanks Erik.

I now know what John and Ben Hall look like...they look kinda normal...that is to say I didn't realise just how 'hands on' they are!!

I wonder if Lemmy's bass has stereo ric-o-sound! lol

Ben looks like Matthew Perry from Friends. And the band that played the opening theme for friends, the Rembrandts, used Rickenbackers. Maybe Ben is actually Matthew Perry too and maybe I need more sleep...

Hey Barry, those are totally fascinating pictures to be sure - Rickenbacker magic at its formidable strongest.
May I be so bold as to say that you certainly have a famous name?...Image

These pics are great. Question for you, all, though, I've seen multiple people talk about touring the Ric factory, yet on the website it states they don't give factory tours...what gives?

Drew: Welcome. Occasionally people do get to see the factory through special arrangement, however, their policy for some time has been to refuse factory tours to the general public. You can certainly see from the fine work portrayed in the photos why such a policy is in place. I am sure John Hall has some interesting factory stories to tell.

Gotcha. Man, I'd love to tour the factory just to see it firsthand.
