New or used tort pickguard for a 75 reissue Fender J bass.
It looks like the 62-reissue will work. It has the same 11 hole configuration, with the thumbrest mounted below the G string.
An 11 hole p/g with the thumbrest above the E string will work also.

Nobody has these instock.

The absolute best thing to do is contact Tony at www.pickguardian.com. Great price, in stock, and the most authentic looking tort. Better than Fender usually. It's probably all standard, but if you can live without your guard for a little while, send it to him to use as a template. You'll get both back, and the fit will be perfect. Not one screw out of whack.

Ditto on that. I had Tony make a tort pickguard for my AV '62 Jazz Bass that made the bass sound more vintage!!! Image

Yea, I thought about Tony, but I really didn't want to pay top dollar for a p/g. I know he does great work, I bought a p/g from him for my 4003.

Jeff, to you mind saying how much for your tort guard?

I believe it was $60.00 including shipping.

Try: www.Jeanniepickguards.com or www.wdmusic.com
I bought a tort guard from WD for my SR5 and it was great. About $45. Jeannie is slightly cheaper for a J Bass according to the price list.
