All You Need Is Ears : The inside personal story of the genius who created The Beatles.

What about George Martins book? Anybody read it?

I've read it. While he certainly talks about the Beatles it is not the primary focus of the book. It was disappointing to me, but others may like it.

Wasn't there a super limited edition on that book? Like only 500 were sold and they were all signed? I thought that whole thing was weird...to only offer $500 editions of the book.

There was a paperback version...go figure...that I bought. It was alright.

I have a hard cover copy and it was generally available. I quite liked it.

Not long after, an 18 part (or 24 or whatever) series on GM appeared on CBC radio.

Lots of interviews and music. Half hours.

Nice companion piece. Too bad it wasn't repeated.
