I opened up the control cavity of my '58 365 Capri today, serial number 2V197. Its been awhile since I had last peeked in. The pots dated from the 41st week of '58. No surprise there. But I had forgotten that the two tone pots were 1 Meg. I think the two volume are 500k. The pot code is on the side of the pot. Anyone know for sure?

All I remember from mine were the 1 Meg tones.
I think a Combo 800 I had had a 500 for the volume.
Pictures?

BTW, this guitar plays/sounds super! Way different from my earlier '58 365. The early '58 had more tones available with it's two knob/two switch config. Both are sweet.

Who was the vendor on those flat-back pots? I don't think they are Mallory...they look like the pots in the Combo 850 of David's we had opened up...

Can't tell for sure. The volumes look newer- but that's only
going by what I can see.
One thing I learned with Capri's is that they have a higher level of "wrong" than the 60's guitars. -
If it looks wrong, it might not be.
You may just need to sell the guitar to me and not worry about it anymore; yup, that's the ticket Image
