This new FG 350V63 arrived at my house today.
Now I have TWO! Here is the Ric family, both the 12 and the 6. It took a while (and a 6 hour return trip drive!), but I finaly found my FG 350. There are a couple of MB ones around, but I am a Canadian version of Tony. I really like FG.
Please 'scuz the really bad family shot. I'll get better ones soon. The case shot is closer to the real color.
No time for more photos now... have to go play.

Hey, Dean.... congratulations, mate!! It looks a honey - even if the shots aren't top shelf. Looking forward to a real good look at some more pics.
Perhaps you'll let me fondle it (in a musical way, of course) in September.... yes??
Reminds me.... must give my 350 a good workout with some Scratch-X and Zymol.

Thanks Howard. Both will be there in September and you can fondle away.
The FG is actually quite blood red at the edges, very much like the case shot.
It doesn't get much better than a Ric 12, a
Ric 6 and a Vox. I am in heaven tonight...
I'll be doing the Curmudge treatment on both of these ladies soon as well, before our June festival gig.

660/12 and 350 is a killer combo of Ricks. Not to mention the Vox amp! You have excellent taste Dean. Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks everyone.
Melissa: Thanks. Always play like I mean it, whatever it may be at the time. In fact, those 481 lines from Jammin' will sound great on both!
Graham: Thanks, it really is quite nice in real life. Not quite as "amber" as I would have liked in the middle, but exquisite in it's way. I'l post pics of the back. It has a nice subtle flame to it.
John: Thanks for the compliment. Now I've got a red face. When added to my Godin Exit22 and my '69 LP Gold Top, they make a really nice playing stable I thought would never happen.

Very,
very cool, Dean. The 660/12 back is an interesting combination of grains.
Looking forward to an 'in the flesh' assessment!

Thanks Howard.
It was a nice warm sunny day today, so thought I'd try to get some better pics. The 660's back sure went nuts in the sunlight.

Looks great Dean & matching backs to boot! The 350V63 is a lovely sounding gtr. I put a higain in the bridge & that helped no end....give it a go, you might like it.
You're right....it's worth holding out for fireglo.

Beautiful, Dean. Nice amp, too.

Thanks all. It sure is more fun when you have more than one.
What a geat idea, Tony, thanks. I think I just might try that. I had thought about either a humbucker or a high gain at the bridge after seeing some of your great posts, and probably an Accent as well. You know, I could swear fireglo sounds better too!

Now if I could find a fireglo Combo 850...
Thanks Jere. I have a second AD212 that I leave at our drummers for our Friday night bang and yells. That way I just drag the head back and forth. I use both cabs when we play live. I'm going to try that rig with the Tonelab to the PA at the same time in June. The VC12 will change the patches on both the amp and the TL at the same time. I can play super dirty and super clean simultaneously.
