I have no idea how far this'll go.

Interesting concept, but I'd be surprised if the conservative majority would go for it. I must say I'm a tad suspicious of this person's REAL motives,whatever they are.
I know it sounds cynical, but there are some very crafty opportunists out there who know how to push our buttons emotionally, and using Lennon's lyrics to drive his point home is one way.
I'm NOT saying it's a bad thing, just something that requires some official scrutiny. Who knows, maybe it COULD happen.

It's a silly idea. He was a great musician and turned out to be a good guy, after a rough start.

Isn't that enough? DO we have to canonize the guy?
