Sleater Kinney and Interpol

Two relatively new Rick bands
1) Sleater-Kinney - All-female threepiece. One of the guitarists often sports a JG330, the other a danelectro of some variety. They have a garage-ish sound, in a good way, with riot grrl lyrics. GREAT if you like that sort of thing. Like the pixies, kinda, but with less sarcasm. Currently touring with Pearl Jam. Not the kind of band that would be good in an arena . . . . more of a small club type of group.

2) Interpol - ambient indie-pop that would have sounded cutting edge in 1989. Good to hear that kind of music (cure, smiths, etc) still being made. Their website features what looks like a JG360. Could be burgundy and or a 330, as it's a blurry black & white shot. Another photo (second page) definitely features an FG330.
