310 AG, Chandler 555, 350 S. Hoffs

Not exactly an 'ugly duckling', John, but the Chandler stands out. IMO its appearance would be improved if the guard was straight on the top edge and followed the curve of the lower bout a little more closely. Nice, just the same......

The other two require no further comment beyond the bleedin' obvious!!

The curves of the Chandler pickguard are what make it stand out as very non Rick, I think. Also the bevel on the body give a bit of a Strat flair.
All 3 are very nice.

IMO the fact that the pickguard covers the string and pickup area is what makes it stand out as non Rick, Kevin - regardless of curves.

True, unless you consider the huge pickguards of the Electro guitars, but that's a different breed altogether.
The material even looks obviously different than the stuff RIC uses. More translucent.
It does look very Strat-ish, but they walk a fine line between influence & knock-off.
Like the upper horns of a Rick with the lower body of a Strat.

Actually, H, the more I look at it, the more I agree with you. I was going on a quick first impression. The angle view really looks like a Strat.
I do like Strats, BTW!

Re: Strats.... me too! Got a couple of 'em myself. Picked up a nice '93 MIJ on ebay just two weeks ago, in fact.

The binding on the 350 SH really does set the whole guitar off beautifully doesn't it.

I never knew the 350SH had *double* binding! Cool!
