Cool; it almost looks like he's playing a different 325, but it's the same one I guess..

Anyone know the story of why he chose a 325? Just asking.

I read somewhere years back, may have been guitar player magazine, that John F. grew up playing a short scale Danelectro (they had photos of him with it, playing gigs when he was in his high school band.)

He first remembers being influenced by 50s artists and I can't remember the rest but it's a fair guess that when the Beatles hit he identified with the Beatle who also played a short scale guitar.

IIRC, John's Gibson Les Paul Custom was a 3/4-scale one.

Looks like Stu Cook's P-Bass has a toaster in the neck position (along with another P-Bass pickup near the bridge).

Bizarre, I remember that video from seeing it on Sullivan's show. Many years ago...
