V-Amp 2 and 330/12

Post by gt40graham »

Anybody else using this combination? (!) I'm curious to know what sort of results you might be getting.

I like a fairly clean, chiming sound although I haven't yet found the best setting.

I use the V-Amp 2 with my 620's. Start with Preset 'E' on Bank 11. Change the Effect selector to Chorus+Comp(compression). I've found this to be a good starting point for the sort of sound you're after, though it's obviously a personal deal. I get great results from the V-Amp... enjoy it.

Thanks for that Robin. Have given it a try and, with a couple of tweaks it is spot-on.

Are you a collector? You've more Ricks than some of the shops around here! I have my 330/12 FG and a 4001 JG but I can see me expanding on this as I am well impressed with the 330/12 which I have only just bought.(Had the 4001 for 20+ years).
