REM

I don't *think* this has been posted before, but not only is Peter with a 12-string 360, but there's bass action too!

Weird to see Stipe with hair.

So. Central Rain used to be one of my favourite songs to play live - when I used to get out, that is. Looks like they're performing that song before they composed the well-known 12-string intro.

If you find the "Crush With Eyeliner" video, you can see a Green Glo 360OS RIC. If you have iTunes, you can see a snippet of the video and of the guitar.

That's not a 12-string in the Letterman performance. Pete always plays it down low, don't he? I have that whole performance on VHS, they also do a mean Radio Free Europe, which was better than this version of so. central. My possession of a 360JG is purely Peter's influence. What a great guitar !

Awesome video, I loved it! That early-mid-80's REM sound is unbeatable. Thanks.

There was some type of story with that video from Late Night with David Letterman. First of all, it was a very new song for them, In fact when David asked, I think the response was "it's too new to have a name".

Anyway, Michael Stipe refused to speak with David that night. I forgot why, it'll come to me.

Can anyone ID the Fender amp that Buck is using on the Letterman show?
