Can you lot spot it? Image

Probably been mentioned before, seems an enthusiastic fan was either:

1.) Acknowledging what a major influence Geddy has had over the guy - a la "Thanks to you, I play a Rickenbacker!"

2.) Holding it in dispair, throwing it at Geddy, crying out for him to use it live.

Disc two, The Boys in Brazil! I love that part!

No stupid Fender Jazzes there! (No Offense Mark) Shows what casual fans and hardcore fans think he should use or still uses. I ask casual Rush fans what bass Geddy uses and they still say a Rickenbacker, even though he hasn't used one in over 20 years. He is forever tied tot hat instrument, weather he likes it or not.

I replayed that scene many times when I first got the DVD.
I thought the intention was to get it autographed.
Couldn't make out whether it's a V... or a 4003. Looks like the 1/2" neck pup spacing.

it's a 72 or 73

..and probably mind-blowingly difficult to acquire in Brazil...

It sure does have a toaster and .5 inch spacing.

Looks like a V63? pickguard, it butts right up next to the treble pup. Even in the blurred photo, you can see defined triangle inlays, (full width)? and a seemingly "shiny" full length TRC. (Plexi)?

I hope its not a true vintage Rick.

Probably "borrowed" from Dads collection.

Every time I see a JG I want one. My 4080 is JG, but that's not the same.
I can't imagine waving my beloved Ricks above a throng of fans waving their arms about randomly!
I hope nothing happened to it other than a strategically placed autograph!
