5640.00 for a 74 Jazz? Their prices are ridiculous, If they sell at those prices, that just prooves the old adage: There's a sucker born every minute.

I agree Ilan! Their pictures are very teasing no matter what instrument they sell.

Yes good pictures and good BS go a long way with many people, it's easy to get sucked in, it's happened to me a few times. I try to not buy on impulse.

That depends on your definition of 'very teasing', Lars...bring in a naked model and you could sell that bass immediately without having to mess with things like 'lighting' and 'focus'.

That's how it works here, at least. They never would have sold as many riding lawn mowers as they have without the invention of the bikini-clad trade show 'spokesmodel'...

I know one thing, the way the bridge saddles are arranged on the '72 P-Bass for sale, ain't no way it plays in tune. All the way out at the end of the plate, and straight across. Bizzare! I have a feeling they don't try or know enough to set them all up expertly. You can throw a cat under the strings on that Electra faker too.

Fran: for shame! I happen to have a cat watching the screen, and I don't like for her to be confronted with that sort of imagery...

Ooops! Apologies to the poor girl! For the sake of redemption, might I offer a mouse instead? Hope kitty has a sense of humor!

Actually, she does...but now you're gonna have to deal with Sheena!

Let's substitute something less animate and liable to cause anyone pain...like: "a big wheel of gorgonzola"...

So, one can't say "teasing" without bringing bikini-girls to mind?
I should've said "tempting" maybe, (or is Dane one track minded?) Image
