Anyone know how to play this song, mainly the intro? Thanks in advance.

Key of E. The intro is Roger overdubbing himself playing counterpoint.Put on headphones and listen closely. It's not real hard at all.

Yeah..unison E's on the first and second strings..then down to D on the second string and up to G on the first...something like that...Chords are

Em C D G B7
Em C D G G/F# Em and the drone unison E's..

I don't know how the bridge goes...where it shifts from straight time to a sort of shuffle rhythm...so you're on your own there...

Thanks, and I think I figured out the bridge...A G Bm. Sounds right to me at least.

I should listen to the songs before I go posting chords and tab..youre right, Don, that is E major..and B minor...that minor 3rd in the unison drone lick threw me into Em..and I never listened any closer...

Well...ah...thats how folk music evolves, isnt it...heheh

One more thing on this tune; I hear[and have for years] that the ending chord of the song is an E chord with a Bm chord played together, making the overall sound you hear even more lush and complex.
And then there's those darn Byrds harmonies working with the tone of the instruments...

Actually, I think it's just an E chord on the instruments, but the vocal harmonies are doing the 'Bm-ish' chord , which is (starting w/ low E string)-
E
B
E
B
D
F#

That makes it an E9th chord which works beautifully....
