I took some outdoor "portraits" of the '02 Jetglo in white-edged black trim today. Later today or tomorrow, I'll put the stock white and chrome trim back on, and get it ready to ship out to Philip Hannaart in the Netherlands. Enjoy!

It sure does look pretty this way aswell!! Anyway I'm a Geddy Lee addict and really like the classic look, so as mentioned before, I prefer the stock configuration.
I'm very happy it's gonna be mine! Thanks Paul
Send me an email when you know the total amount I have to Paypal you.

Congratulations, Phillip! My first Rickenbacker was a jetglo 4003, also (and also because of Geddy's influence). It's a great bass - enjoy it and make great music!

This would be my second Rickenbacker. I already had a Burgundy 4001 from 1977, but I sold it because it wasn't a real player.

Ordinarily I like the B&W config, but that is a nice looker.
Congrats Phillip.

An update. I sent the Jetglo with stock appointments to Philip in the Netherlands. I have it going UPS Expedited and my shipping guy at my company said it should take "about a week." I have it packed in a case, and then in a shipping box padded with layers of wavy fiberboard like the material used in egg cartons. Total weight was 33 pounds, and shipping to the Netherlands cost $214.75. Philip and I are watching the tracking number.
As soon as I shipped, I e-mailed Philip, and within minutes, I received PayPal payment. Philip is a great buyer and Forumite, and I hope he enjoys the Jetglo!
More news later.

Hello, newbie on this forum. I "know" Philip from a Dutch bass guitar forum, although I haven't met him irl (yet). He's also send me the pics you made before shipping, with the white pickguard and TRC. It's a beautiful bass, Paul! How could you let it go?
@Philip: Hope the bass will be in your hands soon, you've waited long enough. Can't wait to hear some MP3's.

Babelfish is so funny.... Always translates English in to DoubleDutch.
Thanks, Steve & Peter.

Sven, I could let it go because I have seven Rick basses, and I purchased that one this February because it was a bargain. Also, Philip was having difficulty finding what he wanted, and I had what he wanted, so we made a deal. I was glad to help.
